A Tour of the Four Winds

We've started to settle into our camper, so I thought I would give you a little photo tour.  Some of these pictures were taken on our Memorial Day camp out, and some of them were taken last week when did another impromptu camping trip to Jenni's.

Let's start in the back, the master bedroom!
Picture
We have a queen size bed, and lot's of storage overhead.

At the foot of the bed is the dresser and wardrobe, plus our flat screen tv.

Just outside of our room is the kids' room.  The bunks and the wardrobe/dresser in our room is all one slide.  There is a ladder for the top bunk, it's moved out of the way for the picture.  The kids each have a small flat screen tv at the foot of their beds, but they won't be using those for a few years.

Across the hall from the kids' room is the bathroom.  It's fine for a camper bathroom.  In truth, the hardest decision when we chose our camper was the bathroom layout.  A lot of the Class C campers came with a split bath, meaning you got a nice big shower across the hall from the toilet and sink.  But I really wanted the bunks, because it's nice for the kids to have a dedicated space.  So we were stuck with the smaller shower.

Ok, I didn't get great photos of the front of the camper, so I'm resorting to the pictures from the camper store website.  This was taken from in front of the kids' room.  To the right is the refrigerator, to the left is the kitchen.  You can also see the sleeper sofa, the dinette, and the front seat.  Oh yeah, and above the driver is a queen size bed, and that's where the full size tv is.  The tv is mounted on a bar so when we are parked we can swing it out.

Notice the weird cut outs on the back of the dinette?  We had no idea what those were for when we bought the camper.  When Rob went to pick it up they showed him what it is.  Any guesses?  It's a passthrough for the back tether of car seats!  So we can use the seat belts at the dinette and those tethers to put the kids in their carseats while we travel.  Love it!

Here's the kitchen.  I love the built in spice rack, and notice the Longaberger basket? The previous owner mounted that and left it.  Score! The sofa and the kitchen are on a second slide out.

Here are the kids enjoying cereal and using the Roku projector to watch Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

And in case you are a visual person, here's the layout of the camper.

All the Schneiders love the camper!

And yes, I am learning to drive it.

So that's the Four Winds.  We are excited to take her out on the open road and have some adventures!
