Evening of the First Day

Since our trip was two weeks, I'm planning to write about 8 more blogs about Curacao.  I will try to not be repetitive, but we saw and did so much I want to capture all our memories.  Some posts will be mostly photos.  I hope you all enjoy!

Rob picked us up at the airport and took us to his hotel. For the first part of our stay, we would be staying at a hotel provided by Rob's employer.  This place wasn't fancy but it afforded a great view of the ships docked at the cruise port.

​We were in our room for less than 10 minutes and the kids wanted to swim.  Ok!  First we headed to the pool.  Then we ate dinner at the Tiki Bar by the beach.  As the sun was setting, the kids explored the beach.

This first evening set the tone for the whole trip.  There would be laid back fun in the sun, good food, and family time galore.  But tomorrow morning I would learn that Curacao is lacking one essential element.  At least from my perspective.
